Very very strong storm today noon ... well , that was the only notable thing ... I am again getting too preoccupied with the thought of death and meaning of life ... good thing is , this time I have been able to identify the source that invoked this thought .... maybe , I can work towards a detour.

Ahhhh ... ends another Saturday .... had office today  9am - 6pm ... went to watch the movie Pirates of Carribian - On Stranger Tides  with my sis ... had dinner at pizza hut before the movie ... finally home for some well deserved rest .

Friday night ... but not exactly happy .. because I got to go to office tomorrow ....

Feeling so much drowsy and sleepy as if I am under the influence of some heavy sedative or intoxicant .....

22nd May 2011 :
Priyam's marriage today .. took lots of pictures of the entire ceremony from morning till noon . Went to see Kasi Vishwanath Temple and Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh ghat .

23rd May 2011 :
Leaving Benaras tonight ... Went to Sarnath , the birth place of Buddhism , saw the stupas , the ashokan pillar , the lions capital etc .

24th May 2011 :
Arrived in Kolkata .. train was late yesterday night nut I got a comfortable seat ... did not have much sleep last night and kept on having nightmares that I could not get down at my station .
Got news of some urgency at office , so rushed home , and rushed to office from there . Had a busy day after that and had to stay extended hours .

25th May 2011 :
Life is back on its normal rut .. weather was very hot in the morning but the evening was awash with heavy rain .... there is storm on the horizon .... lots to say .. waiting for the weekend to let it out ..

  

went to dasashwamedh ghat and kaal bhairav temple in VNS.

Will be on train tonight .. so this early entry .... I am looking forward to the trip . Returned early from office . Got to do all the packing now .

Hmm .... the weather has improved a lot .... from searing , stifling hot to soothing cold .. very heavy storm and rains last night ...so .
Will be off to Varanasi tomorrow , excited about that .

Very busy day at office today , but I enjoyed because I was busy doing research ..
Back home .. do not know why but I am feeling sick after dinner ..
Hopefully this will go after I have had some rest . 

12 hours at office today ... sheeeesh ...
Weather is very bad here .... hot and humid ... drains all the energy out of the body ...
The dinner spread was very good today , having rice , dal , fried fish eggs and prawns ... enjoyed  ... but had the weather been better and had I returned early , I would have had a more ravenous appetite and then dinner would have been truly majestic .

Temperatures are soaring here and strangely there is almost no wind except for an occasional whiff .

This day ends on a sad note ... got news that one of my college mates expired today ...accidentally drowning .

Ohhhh .... these busy days are getting rather tiresome ..... the weather has cooled down ... not much to say today .... got an idea , I will start working on it once my brother comes home from college .

Ohhhh .... again a very busy day at office ...

Tremendous storm and rains have washed away all the heat ...

Today is Tataiya and Pamaiya's Marriage anniversary ... 

Ohh ... what a busy day at office today ... got only half an hour of free time in the entire 11 hours ..(that there , are two extended hours right there) ..
It is getting very hot here in Kolkata .. the temperature has risen by about 10degrees (Celcius) in the last three days .. now it is 41 .. the mets say it is about to rise more .. desperately hoping for storm and rains .

Ohh .... monday again .. and what a busy day today .. lots of work at office ..had to stay extended hours .. finally arrived home and relaxing after a shower and dinner . Chotokaka has come . Had a Kamal's  ice cream after dinner today , did not quite get the name of the flavor , but it was very nice .

Today was very enjoyable .... and hectic .... borrow mama , borrow mami , tapen da , mitali di , sonali and sonai were invited .... had lots of fun .... feeling sad that today is Sunday ..... office from tomorrow .. :( 

Today was adventurous .... hard to say how today will end .

Very busy day at office today . Chatted with friends on the way back . Spoke for a long time at night with my girlfriend ... topics ranged from .. spirituality to music to fire and ice ... now ... all alone .... enjoying a Friday night .

Most boring day in a long time , lot of work at office , no storm and rains ..... waiting for them to come .

Usual day turned better by the storm and rains .

Day was usual .. ... as I was getting ready for office in the morning , looking out my bedroom window I saw two woodpeckers on the coconut tree in our garden ... I rushed upstairs for my camera praying that they do not fly away by the time I come back ..... they did not and I was able to take some snaps which came out wonderfully .
Took mom to the doctor's on the way back from office , for check up for the pain she is having in her leg for some time . Then got the news that my elder cousin had to be hospitalized due to sickness from severe dehydration so went to visit him the hospital . Mom stayed back at Dum Dum .
I came back ..

Just my usual Sunday ....Watched Kate and Leopold , liked the movie .  Had talks with old friends over the phone at dusk  , feeling good . Mom cooked a special chicken dish for dinner today .... not some fixed recipe , just some random thing that she thought up .... it tasted good .
Ohhhhhhhhhh....... Monday tomorrow .. :( :(
